Privacy policy

Last updated 8 September 2026. This policy explains what Evolution Freedom LTD collects when you use Alpaca Cove, why we collect it, and how you can ask us to delete it.

Who we are

Alpaca Cove is a software app made by Evolution Freedom LTD. It is an interface for people who already have an Alpaca brokerage account. We are not Alpaca. We are not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, exchange, custodian, or wallet. We never hold your cash or shares. Trades you confirm in the app are sent to Alpaca and executed there.

What this app is

Alpaca Cove is an iPhone and Android app. The public website is only a shop window (what the app is, this policy, and the terms). Sign-in and trading happen inside the app. You pay Apple or Google inside their stores when those products are live. You do not pay Evolution Freedom LTD by card on this website.

What we collect

We collect only what we need to run your login and to talk to Alpaca on your behalf:

Account. Your email address and a hashed password for Alpaca Cove. We cannot read your password back.
Alpaca link. If you paste API keys or connect with OAuth, we store those tokens encrypted on our server so the app can load balances, charts, and send the orders you confirm.
App use. Positions, orders, watchlist, alerts, and similar records we fetch from Alpaca or that you save in the app (for example a watchlist symbol or a price alert).
Feedback. Notes you send in the Feedback tab, tied to your account so we can understand the report. We may email that note to our support inbox. We do not email your customers or your Alpaca contacts.
Purchases. If you subscribe, Apple or Google tell us enough to know you paid (for example a purchase token or customer id). They process the payment. We do not see your full card number.
Technical logs. Time, rough device or browser type, and error messages so we can keep the service up. We do not sell this.

What we do not collect

Your bank login, debit card, or funding details for Alpaca.
KYC documents, tax forms, or Social Security / National Insurance numbers. Those stay with Alpaca.
Your phone contacts, photos, or location for marketing.
We do not sell personal data. We do not buy advertising lists about you.

Why we use it

To create and secure your Alpaca Cove login.
To show your Alpaca balances, charts, options, calendars, and activity, and to send orders you confirm.
To run in-app alerts (fills, dividends, expiry, price levels you set).
To honour a free trial and a paid plan.
To fix bugs and reply to feedback you send.
To meet store and legal duties (for example showing that a purchase happened).

Who we share with

We share data only as needed to run the product:

Alpaca. When you link an account, the app calls Alpaca with your tokens to read the account and to place or cancel orders you confirm.
Apple and Google. If you pay in their store, they process the payment and may share a receipt with us so the app can unlock Pro.
Hosting and email. The servers and optional email provider that keep the app online and deliver support or alert mail.
We share if the law requires it, or to protect people from fraud or abuse.

Alpaca has its own privacy policy. Read that on Alpaca's site. We are not responsible for Alpaca's systems.

Cookies and sessions

If you sign in from a browser we use a session cookie so you stay logged in. The phone app uses the same kind of signed-in session. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site trackers.

How long we keep it

We keep your Alpaca Cove account until you ask us to delete it, or until we close the service. Encrypted Alpaca keys stay only while the account is linked. Disconnect in Account removes those keys from our server. Your Alpaca brokerage account itself is unchanged. Server logs are kept for a short time to debug problems, then dropped.

Your choices and deletion

You can disconnect Alpaca at any time in the Account tab. That deletes stored keys. It does not sell or close anything at Alpaca.

To delete your Alpaca Cove login and the data we hold for it, email evolutioninvestments79@gmail.com from the same address you use in the app. Say you want the account deleted. We will delete the user record, keys, watchlist, alerts, and feedback we still have, unless we must keep a narrow record (for example a payment we are required to keep). We aim to do this within 30 days.

If you paid through Apple or Google, cancel the subscription in that store as well. Deleting the Cove login does not always stop store billing on its own.

Children

Alpaca Cove is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child created an account, email us and we will delete it.

Security

Passwords are hashed. Alpaca keys are encrypted. No method is perfect. If we learn of a breach that affects you, we will email the address on the account when we reasonably can.

International use

The app and servers may run in more than one country. If you use Alpaca Cove, you understand your data may be processed where we host the service. Alpaca may also process data under its own rules and locations.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top will change. If the change is material we will note it in the app or by email when we can. Keep using the app after an update means you accept the new policy.
